Olive oil is a healthy fat containing essential fatty acids that help skin resist UV damage. These fatty acids are also part of the cell membranes that keep in the moisture your body loses through heat and sweat during summer. Consume about 1 tablespoon of olive oil daily, or add it to a salad or fish dish, to get the benefit.
Two Easy Fixes: Protecting Summer Skin and Deterring Ants

Memorial Day marks the unofficial start of summer — hot weather, outdoor fun, and a couple of seasonal annoyances worth getting ahead of early.
Protect Skin With Olive Oil
Deter Ants With Vinegar and Water
Warmer weather brings six-legged invaders. Mix a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water in a spray bottle and spray it directly onto ants to kill them, then wipe them up with a damp paper towel. Spray the same solution around windowsills and doorways as a deterrent — it also makes a fine all-purpose cleaner, and the smell disappears once it dries.
