A mix of one part vinegar to four parts water, sprayed onto underarm or collar stains and left to soak for at least a minute (longer for set-in stains), then washed as usual, clears out yellowed sweat stains.
Treat Grass Stains With a Sugar Paste
A thick paste made from a half cup of sugar and a little warm water, applied directly to a grass stain and left to sit for at least an hour before washing as directed, lifts the stain out surprisingly well.
