Rough, dull-looking skin is often just a buildup of dead cells waiting to be exfoliated. A weekly scrub with the right ingredients clears the way for nourishing ingredients to actually sink in.

Soften Chapped Lips With a Brown Sugar Scrub

Brown sugar's fine crystals whisk away flaky skin while its glycolic acid draws moisture deep into dry lips; mixed with honey for extra hydration, massaged on for 30 seconds and rinsed, it heals chapped lips faster.

Smooth Rough Patches With an Epsom Salt Scrub

The coarse texture of Epsom salt removes dry, rough skin on knees and elbows without irritating it, while its minerals restore hydration to help prevent the dryness from coming back. A handful massaged onto wet skin for a minute, then rinsed, does the job.

Diminish the Look of Cellulite With a Coffee Scrub

Coffee grounds smooth dimpled skin while antioxidants tighten it and caffeine's diuretic effect flushes out fluids that make cellulite look more prominent. Massaged onto damp skin and left for 5 minutes before rinsing, it's an easy addition to a regular routine.

Calm a Rash With an Oatmeal Scrub

Oats gently slough away dead skin on sensitive, rash-prone areas while their anti-inflammatory properties calm redness; mixing 1 tablespoon of old-fashioned oats with 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel and letting it sit on damp skin for 5 minutes before rinsing boosts the soothing effect.
