If you like to pamper yourself at home and are looking for a simple, delicious moisturizing scrub you can make for pennies compared to what you'd pay retail, here's just the thing. It smells great and is excellent for sensitive skin.

Make a Lavender-Coconut Sugar Scrub

Lavender is very relaxing and soothing. Coconut oil is basically a superfood, great for your skin. And sugar is very exfoliating, making skin soft and clear.

You'll need: 1 cup sugar, 1/4 cup coconut oil (semi-soft but not completely liquid), and 15 drops lavender essential oil. Add the sugar, coconut oil, and lavender oil to a bowl and mix well — add more sugar for a more solid scrub, or less for a gooier texture. Store in a container with a tight lid; the coconut oil should keep it from drying out. It takes about 15 minutes to make and yields about a week's worth of uses.
