Grease stains on fabric can be tough to shift, but here is a handy trick. Use a stick of chalk and rub it onto the stained area, covering it with a thick layer. Let it soak overnight so the chalk can absorb the grease, then wash and rinse as you normally would.
A Chalk Trick for Grease Stains, and a Tong Trick for Blinds

When it comes to cleaning, sometimes the devil is in the details. You want to clean a shirt, you throw it in the wash. You want to clean the stove, you pull out a bottle of spray cleaner and a sponge. But what about a nasty stain that won't come out, or nooks and crevices that are practically impossible to clean?

A Microfiber-Wrapped Tong for Window Blinds
An easy way to clean your window blinds is with a tong wrapped in microfiber cloth. You'll need two pieces of microfiber cloth and a tong: tie both pieces onto the sides of the tong and secure them with elastic bands. While cleaning your blinds, use the microfiber-wrapped tong to hold a section and slide it along the slat. You'll finish up more quickly than usual, since the tong cleans both the upward and downward sides of each section at the same time.
